Individual AC/heat in each room for your comfort! Wireless internet with dedicated gateway in guesthouse (TMobile Home Internet). Speeds can vary due to rural location but generally OK for remote work. Netflix and Satellite Basic Dish TV/Verizon cell towers in direct line across river. Pet Friendly We welcome your dog with prior permission! There is a $55 per pet fee. Limited to 2 medium size (50 lb max) dogs with prior approval. Environmentally friendly In Spring 2022 we installed a solar photovoltaic system that is designed to generate all of the power needed by guests--therefore providing a carbon-neutral stay from an electricity usage perspective! This system will provide all the energy needed to operate the stove, heat water for your showers, run the air conditioner or the heating unit, watch tv, keep the lights on, charge your batteries, and meet all your other electricity needs using clean energy from the sun. This added benefit to you is in keeping with the environmental ethos of Stay Cascadia. EV charging available on premises. Please ask for details. Additional Guidelines / Important Information Our maximum occupancy permit is 4 guests total. The guesthouse is 1000 sq ft. with a balcony overlooking the Rogue River. The space is not suitable for events, gatherings or children under 12. For our guests safety and due to our rural forested location and fire danger, fireworks, firearms and smoking or vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property. Our guesthouse is smoke free for your health and safety. Book now to enjoy a peaceful, quiet, relaxing vacation with the sounds of the river soothing you to sleep. Gaze at the constellations and shooting stars in the dark night sky from the balcony. Our rural location allows sightings of local wildlife including many bird species, turkeys, deer and forest critters. Outside guests are welcome to visit until 10 p.m. Person making reservation must be on premises-no third party bookings. RV parking possible with prior approval due to rural driveway. Enclosed stairway to second floor guesthouse is not handicap accessible. Garage under guesthouse is private.
